Instantor, manufacturer of superior plumbing products and market leaders in press solutions, recently launched their UK product portfolio at the InstallerSHOW in Birmingham last month.

As part of the company’s expansion into the United Kingdom, Instantor have announced two new strategic appointments to strengthen the Instantor UK team. Dan Wild has joined as UK National Sales Manager and brings with him over 20 years of expertise gained at a senior level within the plumbing and heating industry.

A major focus for Dan will be helping to develop Instantor’s market-leading press solutions including the Instantor Press System, Instantor Copper Press Fittings for water and gas, and the Instantor Press Tools.

In addition, Thomas Dickson has taken up the position of Territory Manager, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He has over 20 years of experience, working for merchants and plumbing product manufacturers, and has extensive knowledge of the plumbing fittings market. Mark Neeson remains as Northern Ireland Area Sales Manager, supporting Thomas in strengthening and expanding business growth in the region.  

Dan and Thomas were on the Instantor stand at InstallerSHOW 2024 and welcomed the opportunity to speak with existing and new merchant contacts. This marked the official launch of the Instantor UK product portfolio, which is now available throughout the UK.

The Instantor stand was a firm favourite among installers at last month’s show, featuring continuous live demonstrations, hands-on experience with Instantor press systems, endless merchandise giveaways, and a competition offering the chance to win an Instantor Press Tool.

Installers faced an exciting challenge at the event: a buzzer game that put their time management and hand steadiness to the test as they navigated a tricky copper wire. The game buzzed with each misstep, adding to the thrill. In a surprising turn of events, not one but two installers emerged victorious with the quickest overall times. Ben Kavanagh and Luke Johnson both completed the game in an impressive 12 seconds, each earning a coveted press tool kit. Congratulations to the skilled winners!
