Plumbers of 2022 Charity Calendar raises €5,000 for Irish Charities

That’s a wrap on our Plumbers of 2022 Charity Calendar! Together, we have raised €5,000 for Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin & Irish Cancer Society.

Working with Gas Chat Ireland has been an absolute pleasure, we couldn’t have pulled it off without the lads that so generously volunteered their time and faces for the calendar. It was a first of its kind and we’re thankful to everyone that was involved.

It has been a challenging few years for charities securing funding due to the pandemic. Many events and charitable services that would usually happen, could not, leading to a downturn in both donations and volunteers.

Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin, formerly CMRF Crumlin, was originally set up to provide vital funding to paediatric research, which was and remains utterly underfunded.

They also provide critical support and funding to sick children from all over Ireland who attend CHI Crumlin for diagnosis, treatment, and care on their patient journey.

Each year at least 120,000 children attend Crumlin for critical care and support.

If you would like to make a donation yourself to Children’s Health Foundation, you can donate here.

It was estimated that in 2019 more than 40,000 people in Ireland were diagnosed with cancer or a related tumour.

About 3,890 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year in Ireland. This means that 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime.

If you would like to make a donation yourself to Irish Cancer Society, you can donate here.

Thank you to all involved in the Plumbers of 2022 Charity Calendar once again for helping to raise vital funds for two incredible Irish Charities. It won’t be the last you’ve seen of us – watch this space!
